As long as this works for our donor, we should be on following this schedule. There are still a few things to work out (progesterone shots, etc).
I start taking Lupron shots while at Bridal Market in NYC. Luckily, I’ll be going with my sister in law (and nurse) who will help me figure those out.
Now, I need to work on my diet and stress. YMCA here I come – never too late to try yoga!
I stumbled across your blog this week, I’m also from MN! I look forward to following your journey and cheering you on from the sidelines. You’ve got a lot of amazing things to forward to the next few weeks. -Terri

I had my husband do all my shots (nice way to keep him involved beyond his “donation” 🙂 The Lupron didn’t hurt at all – teeny weeny little needle. My side effects were primarily nausea (I didn’t get the mood swings) so really not too bad. Not sure if they’re putting you on Delestrogen and/or Progesterone during your cycle to help your uterine lining prep for the embryo, but those (booty shots) I found to be a bit more of a doozy, but as long as I kept my bum warm before and after the shot part didn’t hurt too bad.
You sound like a trooper from what you’ve battled so far – congratulations on this step in your journey!
